Nothing brings out my self-criticism like a good old fashioned building project. We're trying to save money on wood, so we went with the cheapest crap at the back of Home Depot (see how much we love, you son?!) and I already went and sold my excellent mitre saw to beef up our savings for the next kid, so I had to borrow tools. Long story short - no proper tools + inferior wood + incompetence = many mistakes. I think we pulled it out, though. Chrissa helped me interpret the directions (what I read of them) and we're done with the building - except side rails. We filled in the nail gun and screw holes with wood filler, so once we sand and paint it'll be ready for our little boy.
Will post pics tomorrow. (Or later.)
Chrissa should post something about her rag quilt - it's an excellent specimen.
